I have very pale, olive-toned skin that tends to be oily for the most part. I do need a daily moisturizer, and it’s very important to me to always wear a sunscreen. I feel naked without it.
I’ve been wearing sunscreen daily since I was 20, so I’ve tried quite a few. Around five or six months ago, I switched to the Elta Daily SPF 40, and I have to say I’m a complete convert. I’ve used (and loved) Neutrogena Healthy Defence, La Roche Posey Anthelios, and MAC Prep & Prime in the past, but the texture of the Elta Daily really agrees with my skin. I also appreciate that it has no sunscreen smell whatsoever. I hate smelling fragrance on my baby’s head after I kiss her!

My main skin worry is that I’m 34, so I’m beginning to see fine lines, and my skin doesn’t look as “fresh” as it did a few years ago. Since starting at DA, I’ve been getting regular facials and glycolic peels, which have certainly improved the texture and brightness of my skin. These procedures, in addition to my diligent sunscreen routine, comprise my personal approach to a beauty bag!
