PicoSure is here and our first five patients have been treated!!!

All five can tell that this is a much better way to treat their tattoos, and it has only been four days since the first treatment.
In the past, the most common complaints about tattoo removal include:
• IT HURTS!

All of our patients who have had tattoo removal treatments in the past say PicoSure is much less painful. One guy with black and green bands on his arm, which have been treated too many times to be counted, had no numbing and more than 500 pulses.

A nurse – who has treated many patients in the past – finally let us use the PicoSure on her tattoo. She used numbing gel on 90% and nothing on 10%. She could tell no difference and next time will not use the gel.
A woman who has had at least six tattoo treatments used cold air only as numbing and found it very tolerable…and quicker since she did not have to wait to numb.
• IT TAKES eight TO 20 TREATMENTS!

OUR INITIAL TREATMENTS ARE SHOWING A FAST RESPONSE.

A woman – with a blue butterfly on her tummy – who is terrified of pain and scared of scarring let us do ONE pulse in one corner of the blue. We got an immediate frost; 48 hours later the blue is gone and the skin is healed. Our nurse saw pigment on her dressings the evening of the treatment, and 72 hours later some of the areas with black pigment have virtually disappeared. We also shot seven pulses on blue jeans….the color immediately disappeared and there was no tissue interaction necessary, just the acoustic sound wave to break that color up.
• IT IS EXPENSIVE!
THE PICOSURE MACHINE IS EXPENSIVE AND THE TREATMENTS WILL COST MORE THAN STANDARD TATTOO LASERS. All of the patients we treated said the time to come into the office and the slow response to therapy is worse than the actual cost of the treatment. This may not be true for all, but if you want to decrease the number of treatments, make each treatment faster, and see results quicker, PicoSure will be the least expensive overall.
