Family and Interests

Dr. Clay has been living in Atlanta for over 20 years. She enjoys spending her free time with her husband and son and also loves trying new restaurants.

Dr. Clay loves the diversity of patients and diseases seen in Dermatology. Behind each door is a new challenge, which makes each day different and exciting. “My interest in Dermatology stemmed from personal skin issues.” Having dealt with acne and eczema as a teenager, Dr. Clay knows the impact skin disease can have on one’s self-esteem and interpersonal relationships. “I empathize with patients who don’t feel confident because of the appearance of their skin.”

Dr. Clay’s interests include treating skin of color, skin cancer prevention and awareness, and cosmetic injectables. Dr. Clay makes it her mission to ensure that patients are knowledgeable about their diagnosis to improve outcomes. In order for patients to actively participate in their health they must understand the disease and treatment.

To make the most out of your next visit with Dr. Clay bring a list of your current and previously used treatments. “Bringing current and previously used medications and ingredients shows me exactly what you’re using and what you’ve tried already.” She recommends coming to your appointment free of makeup so a thorough exam can be completed.
