Dermatology Affiliates offers treatment for skin conditions and other medical dermatology conditions that require the assistance of a board-certified dermatologist.
How Are Skin Conditions Diagnosed?
Our board-certified dermatologists will typically diagnose skin conditions just by learning about your symptoms and examining your skin. If this is not enough to arrive at a precise diagnosis, we will order specific tests to help us come to an accurate conclusion. Skin tests may reveal if the condition is fungal, viral, or bacterial in nature. We may also order tests to determine whether or not a condition is a minor rash, or a benign or cancerous growth on your skin.
Treatment for Skin Conditions
Various skin conditions will require medical or surgical treatment. We provide a wide array of care options that range from diagnostic procedures to surgical treatment for skin, nail, and hair disorders. In some cases, skin problems are symptoms of other underlying medical conditions, and a diagnosis of these conditions will prevent more serious health problems.
