The entire treatment takes about an hour to complete. First, the area to be treated is numbed. Then, our physician specialist injects a small amount of Restylane® Silk gel using an ultra-thin needle precisely where it is needed for treatment. There is no need to test for allergies, as none of the ingredients are animal-based. For a week before treatment, do not take products containing aspirin, ibuprofen, or naprosyn. This will make bruising less likely. The day that the procedure is planned, your skin needs to be clean for treatment, so avoid wearing cosmetics.
