Daisy Burris

Daisy is well known to our patients! She has worked with Dr. Forney since the beginning of Dermatology Affiliates in 2004. Her interest in nursing started after working as a secretary at a level 1 trauma center. She found the medical side to be more interesting and exciting.

Her medical career began in 1987 and she has had many different roles and experiences. In 2002 Daisy went to work in dermatology and found her passion! For the past 16 years she has served as a laser and medical assistant  in dermatology. Always interested in learning new skills and furthering her career, Daisy decided to pursue her aesthetician license. She completed her course work in December and passed the exam to be licensed in March. Although she will step in to help in clinic whenever possible most of her time these days is spent performing laser treatments in the Radiant Center at our Buckhead office and one day a week in East Cobb. Her favorite part of being in the medical field is the people she has met and the close relationships that have developed with her patients. It is a mutual admiration society as Daisy has a lot of loyal fans in our patients.

In her free time you can find Daisy with her family. She has two beautiful grandchildren that she dotes on. Whether it is going to the ballfield to cheer them on, helping with homework or just having fun. Her daughter is in the Army reserves and has a Masters in Nursing Informatics. Her son currently is serving in active duty for the United States Army and has recently finished his degree in computer science.
