GentleWaves
Available in Dermatology Affiliates’ Buckhead location, GentleWaves is a flashing, yellow light that supports collagen production. It does so by decreasing the enzymes which break down collagen, and brightens the skin in a series of quick treatments. It takes about a minute for the treatment on clean, non-made up skin.
Collagen is important in the anti-aging process. The one of the main underlying problems with aging is that collagen and blood vessel walls are damaged by sun and free radicals.
Studies have shown the level of an enzyme which breaks down collagen is significantly reduced after exposure to the Gentlewaves treatment. We use it before and after Fraxel and Exilis. {links to these services} Regular, repeated use of Gentlewaves brightens the skin.
